In July 2022, the University of Luxembourg organized a workshop of Digital Storytelling in the framework of the European research project "MIMY - EMpowerment through liquid Integration of Migrant Youth in vulnerable conditions". In this context, the two researchers Catherine Richard and Amalia Gilodi guided the three young participants through a participatory and creative process reflecting on their experiences of integration, of growing up and of living in Luxembourg. Starting from the question tell us the story of a moment you felt powerful the young filmmakers explored and revisited an aspect of their integration story in Luxembourg in a very personal way, before transforming these into short films. On the evening of the 1st October, after a short introduction to the MIMY research project, the three short films and a short film on the creative process of the workshop will be screened. This will be followed by an exchange between the team (the directors and the researchers) and the audience about the experience of this personal creation around the theme of integration and the experience of empowerment during this creative process. This event takes place in the framework of the exhibition Landing page | Re-Retour de Babel | Dudelange, Luxembourg, an exhibition of Esch2022, European Capital of Culture.
